The song was released digitally on iTunes on January 19, 2010. The song is scheduled to be released physically in the United Kingdom on February 8th. Swift will perform "Today Was a Fairytale" at the 2010 Grammy Awards.The song sold 325,000 downloads, breaking the record for best first-week download sales by a female artist previously held by the Britney Spears track "Womanizer" which sold 286,000 in its first week.
